Head of the Charles

My first time at the Head of the Charles race convinced me I should make this a yearly thing. That may have been all the free stuff they passed out talking (I won a cowbell! Hot dog!)

Rowing may not be the most interactive sport ever, but it's pretty neat to watch. The coxswains (the folks scrunched down at one end or the other of the boat) scream like demons and you can really get behind that kind of yelling. I was impressed with the volume produced sans megaphone. Seriously, who are these people, and what kind of voice training have they gone through?
